Long, versatile Maryland forward with a ready-made pro frame
Haukur Pálsson brings a 6-6 forward build, international experience, and a history of contributing as a steady, multi-skill wing rather than a volume scorer. In Maryland’s 2010-11 season, he was listed as a junior forward from Montverde Academy, and early-game notes show he could chip in in different ways, including an 8-point, 4-rebound outing with a block, steal, and assist. His value is in size, toughness, and do-the-little-things versatility—useful for a coach who wants a connector, not just a bucket hunter.
