Western Illinois DB Charlie Whitaker brings junior-year depth, but no current stat track yet
Charlie Whitaker is listed as a **junior defensive back** at Western Illinois, but the roster page does not show current-season statistics, so the key takeaway is role and potential rather than production. At 5-foot-9, 185 pounds, he profiles as a compact, likely physical DB who could fit teams looking for tackling reliability and slot/coverage versatility, but there is not enough publicly available evidence here to confidently label him a current impact player. Based on the available roster data alone, he’s more of a depth-and-development fit than an easy plug-and-play starter.[6]
