Finn Ellis brings mature catching upside to Southern Indiana
In the 2025 season, Finn Ellis transferred to Southern Indiana after hitting .231 in 17 games at Southeastern Community College, with two doubles and three RBI, and he enters 2026 as a right-handed catcher listed at 6'0", 185 lbs. His value is less about loud stat lines and more about fit: a junior backstop with transfer experience, positional reliability, and room to grow offensively, which makes him intriguing for a team that wants steadiness, development, and a catcher who can handle the grind behind the plate.
