D.J. Hunter brings veteran linebacker instincts and special-teams grit to San Diego State
D.J. Hunter has the kind of old-school linebacker profile coaches usually love: local ties, a scout-team reputation for work ethic, and a background that shows he’s been around the program long enough to understand the standard. His listed experience at both middle and outside linebacker suggests versatility, while his academic and multi-sport background point to discipline and football IQ. If you need a physical, assignment-sound defender with a team-first edge, he fits the mold.
