Deep Bench Runner With Sneaky Grit for NAU
In the 2026 season, Northern Arizona RB Jon Wilson has seen limited early usage, including 1 carry for -3 yards against Arizona, but his 2024 production at Arizona Christian shows real juice: 434 rushing yards, 7 touchdowns, and 8.7 yards per carry across nine games. At 5-foot-8, 200 pounds, he looks like a compact, physical back with burst and contact balance rather than a volume grinder. The fit question is less about star power and more about role: if you want a tough, efficient change-of-pace runner with past big-play production, he’s intriguing.
