Austin Starr brings veteran 3-and-D value and a steady scoring touch to Prairie View A&M
Austin Starr is a 6'3" guard whose best selling point is spacing: in the 2017-18 season at Prairie View A&M, he shot 36.2% from three and 69.2% at the line while adding 5.7 points and 2.9 rebounds per game at CSI before that[5][11]. The appeal is less flash and more fit—he’s a seasoned, perimeter-minded guard who has shown he can chip in as a secondary scorer, rebound his position, and handle the ball without needing the offense to run through him, which makes him a practical rotation piece for a team needing shooting and composure[3][5].
