Cecily Carl was a Patriot League force — the do-it-all forward who powered AU’s rise
In her 2018-19 season, Cecily Carl was the engine of American University’s frontcourt: she earned Patriot League Player of the Year and Scholar-Athlete of the Year, averaged 15.8 points and 5.8 rebounds, and finished as one of only three players in program history with 1,000 points, 500 rebounds, and 100 blocks. She brings size, scoring touch, toughness, and leader-level consistency — plus the kind of high-IQ, high-character profile coaches love. If you want a forward who can anchor a team on and off the court, she’s your kind of player.
