Senior Forward with Elite Physicality and Unmatched Intensity for Central Connecticut State
Juwan Newmen, a 6-8, 220-pound senior forward from Baltimore, MD, stands out not just for his 3.8 PPG and 3.2 REB in the 2025 season, but for his relentless defensive intensity and physical dominance that often shifts game momentum beyond the stat sheet. Unlike typical forwards, Newmen brings a rare 'big-man' mentality with elite footwork and a 43.7% field goal percentage, proving he can anchor a team's interior despite limited assists (0.1 AST). His injury history is minimal, and his personality is defined by quiet leadership and explosive energy on the court. If you need a forward who can physically bully opponents, defend multiple positions, and elevate team morale without needing the ball, Newmen is a perfect fit. He’s the athlete you care about because he turns every possession into a statement, making him a high-value addition for any team seeking grit and reliability.
