In the 2024-25 season, Khamari Mitchell-Steen gave FGCU a dependable scoring punch, finishing with 9.4 points, 2.8 rebounds and 1.7 assists per game while starting 30 of 34 games; she also shot 40.0% from the field and 33.7% from three, with a season-high 22 points and a perfect 4-for-4 night from deep against North Carolina A&T.[11][6] What makes her pop is the combo package: a physical guard who attacks the rim, gets to the foul line, and takes pride in guarding the opponent’s best scorer, which is coach-speak for “we trust her in the messy minutes.”[2]
