George Uribe brings veteran-size and trench toughness to Sacramento State
George Uribe is listed as a Sacramento State offensive lineman and has been on the Hornets’ roster for years, which signals experience and familiarity with the program’s demands[2][4]. At 6-1 and around 285 pounds on the roster, his profile suggests a compact interior-line build that can help with leverage and drive in the run game[2]. For a team, the appeal is straightforward: a seasoned OL presence with continuity and a likely comfort level in the system rather than flashy, stat-sheet production—because, yes, linemen do the dirty work so the highlight reels can keep pretending they’re the whole show[1][2].
