veteran Virginia corner with real ball skills and steady trust factor
Jaylon Baker is a seasoned Virginia defensive back whose calling card is instincts, recovery speed, and a nose for the football; in Virginia’s 2022 spring game, he logged five tackles and snagged the game’s lone turnover, showing quick reaction and playmaking feel. He also earned ACC Honor Roll recognition for 2022-23 and was later included among UVA’s 2024 Hampshire Honor Society honorees, which points to the kind of dependable, mature presence coaches love. If you need a corner who competes, understands leverage, and brings veteran calm with some real juice, Baker is worth your attention.
