Rian Fields brings rare size and veteran depth to Fresno State’s secondary
Rian Fields is a long, physical DB for Fresno State at 6-6 and 210 pounds, which instantly gives him a different body type than the average defensive back and hints at matchup value, especially in the run game and against bigger receivers. The clearest verified game action on record shows he appeared in three games in the 2022 season, recording tackles against Wyoming and Washington State, so he profiles more as a depth-and-development piece than a proven stat leader. If your team values length, toughness, and special-teams-style versatility over flash, he’s an intriguing fit.
