Diego Oliver brings proven ball production and steady tackling to Eastern Illinois’s secondary
Oliver is a 6-foot, 175-pound defensive back whose recent production shows a playmaker with range and disruptive instincts: he finished a 2024 season with 40 tackles, 2 interceptions, and 4 pass breakups, after posting 64 tackles and 1.5 tackles for loss in 2024 at Northern Arizona and 48 tackles with 2 forced fumbles in 2025, according to roster records. That combination of takeaway ability, open-field tackling, and multi-year consistency makes him attractive if you need a DB who can cover, compete at the catch point, and create turnovers rather than just rack up stats.
