Jeffrey Lubin brings versatile DB upside and recruiting pedigree to Akron
Lubin is a developmental defensive back with a cornerback background, a three-star recruiting profile, and the kind of length/size combo that coaches like to mold into a coverage piece; Akron lists him as a DB after he played cornerback in high school, which suggests positional flexibility and upside if his technique keeps catching up to his frame. The catch: the available public trail is thin on recent on-field production, so this is more a bet on tools, athletic translation, and coachability than proven college stat-sheet impact.
