lefty depth arm with swing-and-miss upside, but results have been rough in 2026
Fabian is a 6'1" senior left-hander for Western Illinois who has taken the ball in 2026 and still shows strikeout ability, but his current numbers point to significant command and run-prevention issues: a 17.72 ERA, 13 strikeouts in 10.2 innings, and a 3.00 WHIP.[1][2][4][5] What makes him interesting is the profile—a left-handed pitcher with enough bat-missing stuff to matter—yet the fit question is whether a staff can sharpen his consistency and stabilize his outings quickly.[1][2]
