Evan Yongue brings veteran linebacker grit to Morehead State
Evan Yongue is a **hard-nosed, experienced linebacker** who showed reliable depth in his redshirt junior season, appearing in nine games with four tackles and a fumble recovery against Lincoln (Pa.)[1]. His value is less about eye-popping stats and more about **assignment discipline, special-teams usefulness, and a proven feel for making impact plays when opportunities come**[1]. If you need a steady, physical defender who understands the college game and can contribute in a rotational role, Yongue is the kind of fit that adds toughness and accountability rather than flash[1][2].
