Cam Lawin offers deep-shooting upside, but production remains limited
Lawin is a 6-3 San Diego State guard whose profile is built on perimeter shooting and spacing, highlighted by a strong high school résumé that included 87 threes in a season and a 19.1-point average as a senior at Orr Academy, but his college role has been very small so far. In 2024-25, he appeared in six games off the bench and averaged 0.5 points and 0.7 rebounds in 2.4 minutes per game, with his lone basket coming as a three-pointer in the NCAA Tournament. He looks like a low-usage, system-fitting shooter rather than an immediate impact creator.[7][1]
