Kelvin German brings veteran power and burst to Gardner-Webb’s backfield
Kelvin German, a senior RB at Gardner-Webb in the 2026 season, profiles as a compact, physical runner with enough speed to threaten the edge and the strength to finish runs through contact. Earlier scouting notes described him as a “powerful but speedy back” who could also contribute as a receiver and in the return game, which makes him more versatile than a pure between-the-tackles hammer. The fit is strongest for a team wanting toughness, downhill intent, and a veteran presence. Recent stat detail wasn’t clearly available, so the biggest value signal here is his proven all-purpose profile and multi-role utility.
