Portland’s low-usage, low-impact guard with modest production
Porter Troupe is a depth guard for Portland whose profile centers more on minutes and role than box-score pop: in ESPN’s listed player stats, he averaged 2.8 points, 1.6 rebounds, and 0.9 assists in 12.4 minutes per game, with a 29.7% field-goal mark in the 2001-02 season.[2] The appeal is positional flexibility and bench stability rather than scoring punch, so he fits best as a complementary guard who can handle modest minutes without needing the offense built around him.[2]
