Experienced Albany safety with a ball-hawking profile
Dave West is listed by ESPN as an Albany Great Danes safety, but the available public stat line is extremely limited, so there is no reliable evidence here of recent on-field production or ranking momentum. What stands out is simply the defensive back/safety role itself: if Albany is featuring him, the appeal is usually coverage awareness, tackling support, and back-end communication rather than flashy box-score numbers. Based on the sparse data, he looks more like a depth/role fit than a proven statistical standout right now.
