Brooks Ward is a physical left-handed outfielder with upside in Air Force’s 2026 mix
In the 2026 season, Brooks Ward has flashed early, with Air Force listing him at 6-foot-2, 205 pounds and showing a 1.000 average in limited action, including an RBI hit against St. Thomas on March 16, 2026[2][4][6]. The bigger story is projection: he’s a left-handed bat with good size, came in as a freshman in 2025, and earned playing time against elite nonconference competition, which usually says something about trust and toughness[1][3]. If you want an outfielder who brings athletic upside, a strong frame, and developmental runway rather than a finished stat sheet, Ward is worth a serious look[1][11].
