Veteran Finnish big brings size, efficiency, and steady interior play to Valpo
Antti Nikkila is a 7-foot Valparaiso center whose game is built on efficient finishing, physical rebounding, and dependable interior minutes; in the 2023 season, his reported career-college profile shows 3.0 points, 2.2 rebounds, and a 51.5% field-goal rate, while his broader résumé includes strong work on Finland’s national-team stage. He isn’t a high-usage scorer, but that’s the point: he offers size, contact tolerance, and low-drama production — the kind of old-school big who can fit if a team wants rim presence, hard screens, and a rugged paint defender.
