Gavin Myers brings proven leg strength and placement to Austin Peay’s punting game
Myers is a sophomore punter who already has a track record of impact: in 2024 at Northwood, he averaged 42.9 yards on 48 punts, placed 18 inside the 20, and earned Great Midwest Conference Freshman of the Year honors with second-team all-conference recognition. His differentiators are leg strength, hang-time/field-position value, and a history of high-volume responsibility in pressure situations. For a team, he looks like a reliable field-position specialist with upside if his consistency continues to sharpen.
