EMU Guard with Solid Playmaking but Modest Scoring Output
Austin Harper, Eastern Michigan Eagles guard, posted career college averages of 2.5 points, 1.0 rebounds, and 1.4 assists per game with a 37.4% FG in his EMU tenure (2011-12 season post-transfer from Glen Oaks CC), showcasing reliable ball-handling from his standout high school days at Grand Haven where he averaged 16.8 points, 6.0 rebounds, 4.8 assists, and 2.0 steals en route to first-team All-State honors. His differentiator is versatile court vision and defensive intensity, making him a steady rotational fit for teams needing a smart, unselfish guard without injury concerns—worth watching for mid-major depth.
