a former Southern Utah playmaker, but current 2026 football performance is not verified
Publicly available search results do not show a verified 2026 football profile or current RB production for Cory Ashby at Southern Utah, so there isn’t enough reliable data to judge his present fit as a roster piece. The only clearly found football evidence is historical: he was a multi-touchdown rushing threat for Southern Utah in 2001 and later appeared in 2002 game logs, which suggests past big-play capability and versatility. If this is the same Cory Ashby, the appeal is explosiveness and proven scoring upside; if not, the current athlete status needs confirmation before drawing conclusions.
