Elite 3-Point Guard with Career-High Scoring Intensity for Western Illinois
Troy Okeson, the Western Illinois Leathernecks guard from Weskan, KS, stands out as a high-intensity shooter with 132 career three-pointers (tied 7th all-time at WIU) and a career-high 18-point game on 7-of-11 shooting. His differentiator is relentless perimeter aggression—he matched his four three-pointer career high three other times—paired with a 41.8% field goal rate and 81.8% free throw accuracy. While his stats show modest averages (7.4 PPG, 2.0 REB, 1.0 AST), his on-court intensity and clutch shooting make him a perfect fit for teams needing a reliable, fearless scoring guard who elevates in tight moments, with no reported injury history affecting his availability.
