Xavier Hirsch is a 6-foot-5 Notre Dame righty who flashed starter potential in 2025
Hirsch’s 2025 season showed a useful mix of upside and reliability: he logged 21.0 innings over 11 appearances, went 3-0, struck out hitters in 8 of 11 outings, and posted four scoreless appearances, even if his 4.71 ERA shows he is still refining consistency. Notre Dame’s roster lists him as a 6-foot-5, right-handed pitcher, a frame that suggests projection and matchup value, while the fact that he missed the 2023 season adds some development context. He looks like a fit for teams wanting a developing strike-thrower with starter traits rather than an already-finished product.
