Jacqua Williams brings veteran defense and disruption to Georgia Tech’s backcourt
Jacqua Williams is a defense-first guard whose value goes beyond the box score: in the 2008-09 season, she set Georgia Tech’s career steals record with 366, a strong signal of her ball pressure, anticipation, and competitiveness. She’s the kind of disruptive, high-motor guard coaches love because she changes possessions, creates chaos, and gives a team edge-setting toughness. If your team needs a gritty perimeter defender who can make winning plays and doesn’t need touches to matter, she’s a very good fit.
