Alex Dupuy brings everyday consistency and impact contact to UAB
Dupuy is the kind of infielder coaches trust in the lineup every day: in 2025, he started all 58 games for UAB, led the team with 19 hit-by-pitches, and produced 59 hits, 54 runs, 41 RBI and 10 steals while mostly handling third base with a .970 fielding percentage[1]. He also showed real bat-to-ball value with 18 multi-hit games and a season-long 18-game on-base streak, plus a strong early-2026 stretch that earned American Conference honorable mention after a 7-for-17 week[2].
