Versatile Stanford Safety with Limited Playing Time
Calvin Chandler, a 6'2" defensive back from Tacoma, WA, came to Stanford with impressive high school credentials—131 tackles and unanimous All-League honors as a three-time selection. However, his college career has been underwhelming. As a senior in 2016, he appeared in just four games with minimal impact (two tackles, two pass breakups). His junior year saw no action. While scouts praise his athleticism, instincts, and football intelligence, Chandler's inability to crack Stanford's rotation raises durability or scheme-fit concerns. Best suited for programs valuing potential over proven production.
