Avery Wapp is Lindenwood’s workhorse lefty with strikeout stuff and steady run prevention
Wapp stands out as a durable, competitive **pitcher** who has shown she can carry a staff: in 2024 she logged 30 mound appearances, 20 starts, a 9-12 record, a 3.11 ERA, and nine complete games, then followed with a dominant stretch that included a 0.00-ERA outing with 9 strikeouts in 6.2 innings and a seven-inning, 10-strikeout performance. Her calling card is bat-missing ability paired with volume, which makes her appealing for teams that value a starter who can settle games and take pressure off the bullpen.
