Noel West brings steady playmaking and low-turnover value to Mercer’s backcourt
Noel West looks like a reliable, team-first guard whose value shows up in control and efficiency more than flash: in 2024-25 at West Georgia, he led the team with 86 assists and posted a league-best 2.9 assist-to-turnover ratio, while also starting 22 games.[18][8] He fits best for teams that need a composed table-setter who can run offense, protect the ball, and keep possessions clean; the main question is whether his scoring ceiling rises enough for a bigger offensive load.[18][8]
