Veteran Southern Miss back with heavyweight frame and proven college grit
Johntre' Goudy is a redshirt junior RB for Southern Miss in the 2026 season, listed at 5-9, 247 pounds, with a compact, power-run build that suggests downhill toughness and short-yardage value.[1][2] Southern Miss’ roster bio also shows he has been a multi-year contributor, including playing in eight games in a prior season and making one start, which hints at reliability and experience rather than pure flash.[1] If a team wants a physical, low-center-of-gravity runner who can absorb contact and keep churning, Goudy looks like a fit; if the goal is open-field explosiveness, the profile is less clear from publicly available current data.[1][2]
