Defensive-minded guard who changed Maryland with toughness and steals
Blair Watson was a 6-foot guard for Maryland who earned **All-Big Ten Honorable Mention** and **All-Big Ten Defensive Team** recognition in 2020, and her calling card was pressure defense, physicality, and a disruptive motor that helped power a comeback from a knee injury. She was valued not just for scoring, but for intensity, rebounding from the guard spot, and making opponents uncomfortable—traits that translate well for teams needing a tone-setter who can defend, compete, and bring edge every possession.[1][3][4]
