Colton Clay brings veteran North Texas linebacker experience with a local-Texas pedigree
Colton Clay is a North Texas linebacker from Princeton, Texas who gives the Mean Green a familiar, homegrown defender with size and special-teams value; the available profile lists him at 6-1, 215 and shows him in the 2011 roster, but current 2026 stat detail wasn’t available, so the best read is that he fits as a physical, steady presence rather than a flash-and-dash headline machine[4][7][11]. If your team wants a tough, local grinder who can understand the program and play with edge, Clay looks like the kind of steady depth piece coaches trust when the game gets gritty.
