South Carolina State’s Avery Bowden brings intriguing QB upside, but current verified production is limited
Avery Bowden is listed as a South Carolina State quarterback, but publicly verifiable 2026 game-by-game production and scouting detail are sparse, so the cleanest read is that he remains more of an upside name than a proven stat-stuffer right now. The appeal is the QB label itself: if he wins snaps, he fits the all-important job of processing quickly, leading an offense, and creating stability under center. For a roster fit, he’s a watch-list player—worth attention for development and depth, but not yet supported by enough public data to project him as a ready-made impact starter.
