Mercer safety Harrison Poole is a reliable tackler with starting experience
Harrison Poole enters the conversation as a trustworthy Mercer safety after starting all nine games he played and finishing with a career-best 46 tackles in the most recent season noted by Mercer, including 36 solo stops. That profile suggests a defender who is active, assignment-sound, and willing to get involved near the ball rather than just flash on highlights. He looks like a good fit for teams that value steady production, tackling reliability, and a safety who can handle a full workload.
