Gritty High School Standout Poised for Kansas City Roos Impact
Kelly Yeakel, a versatile guard joining the Kansas City Roos, earned Moniteau High School's Player of the Year honor for her all-around game, stepping up with gritty rebounding and hustle amid season-ending injuries to her team's top bigs in her senior year[2]. Her relentless intensity and adaptability make her a differentiator—perfect for teams needing tough, multi-faceted players who elevate teammates under pressure. No college stats yet, but her high school pedigree screams 'immediate contributor' for a competitive roster.
