Jonathan Wheeler brings Wofford a physical, assignment-sound presence at cornerback
Wofford’s Jonathan Wheeler looks like a value-add CB because the profile points to a player who can handle real snaps with discipline and toughness, rather than just chase highlight plays. The strongest on-field clue available is that he has contributed in live game action and has shown the kind of compact, do-your-job style that usually translates well in coverage-heavy defensive systems. If your team wants a reliable, coachable defensive back with upside as a steady special-teams/rotation piece, Wheeler fits that mold; if you need a pure shutdown, accolades-loaded star, this is more of a development bet than a marquee one.[5]
