Maine Black Bears DL with 2.5 Sacks and All-Game Intensity
Douglas Alston, the 6'3", 216-lb defensive lineman for the Maine Black Bears, started all 11 games in the 2025 season, recording 25 tackles (12 solo, 13 assisted), 2.5 sacks, and three pass breakups. His differentiator is relentless intensity—he plays every down with full-force aggression, rarely taking a breath, which makes him a high-value fit for teams needing a physical, game-wrecking presence. Though no major injury history is reported, his personality trait of quiet leadership and workmanlike dedication stands out. He’s a data-driven stat leader in sacks for his class and a Defensive Player of the Year nominee. If you need a DL who brings both strength and mental toughness, Alston is a top-tier choice.
