Tim Rush brings Jackson State a familiar, hard-nosed backfield spark
Tim Rush is listed as a Jackson State running back and brings a local-Jackson, MS connection that often translates into toughness and comfort in the program’s culture. Publicly available current stat detail is limited, so the clean read is that he profiles more as a developmental, system-fit back than a proven production centerpiece right now. That can still matter: Jackson State has leaned on efficient rushing in recent seasons, and a back who can pass protect, stay disciplined, and hit gaps decisively fits the Tigers’ physical identity. If you want a steady, downhill RB with room to grow, he’s worth a look.
