Bryant Bednarek brings proven tackling production to Davidson’s secondary
Bednarek is a physical, assignment-sound defensive back who already showed he can handle meaningful snaps at Davidson, starting three games and posting 29 tackles with 1.5 tackles for loss in the 2011 season. His appeal is reliability: he has game experience, a willingness to support the run, and the kind of steady presence coaches like in the back end. Based on the available roster info, he looks like a depth-to-impact defender rather than a flashy stat-stuffer, which can be a good fit for teams that value toughness, consistency, and trust in coverage and tackling.
