Citadel QB Legend Turned Proven HBCU Champ Head Coach at FIU
Willie Simmons, a dynamic dual-threat QB for the Citadel Bulldogs in the early 2000s, showcased elite arm talent and mobility from his All-American high school days at Shanks, making him a nightmare for defenses with his poise under pressure and leadership. Now thriving as FIU's head coach since 2025 after a 2023 SWAC title and Black College National Championship at FAMU (12-1 record), his championship pedigree, player development expertise, and infectious intensity make him a game-changer—perfect fit for teams seeking a proven winner with HBCU-to-FBS success.
