Willie Rice brings veteran nickel-corner versatility and a physical edge
Willie Rice is a seasoned defensive back whose profile suggests value as a versatile, physical corner/nickel with a workmanlike approach and special-teams usefulness; Western Carolina listed him as a freshman defensive reserve in 2021, and later roster data shows he developed into a bigger, stronger DB at Central Oklahoma before being associated with Western Carolina again in ESPN’s player listing.[5][4][3] He stands out more for toughness, adaptability, and effort than flashy stat production, which can make him a smart fit for a team needing a dependable cover man who can handle multiple roles and compete consistently.[1][5]
