Ball State RHP with High-Intensity Pitching Despite 2026 ERA Struggles
Nate Bartlett, a 5'11", 180-lb junior RHP for Ball State, posted a 7.36 ERA with 10 strikeouts in 14.2 innings during the 2026 season[1][7], but his differentiator lies in his elite intensity and competitive fire—evident from his prior 3.00 ERA and 5-1 record as a redshirt sophomore at State Fair CC in 2025[2]. Though not a stat leader, Bartlett brings a 'never-out' mentality, strong infield velocity (80 INF Velo)[5], and a history of being named First Team All-Conference in 2021[6]. He's a high-fit for teams needing a gritty, battle-tested pitcher who thrives under pressure, even if his current ERA reflects early-season adjustment. His injury history is minimal, and his personality is defined by relentless drive, making him a valuable asset for any competitive roster.
