Chase Bloomer is SIUE’s power-producing, all-around infield anchor
Bloomer enters 2026 coming off a first-team All-OVC season, where he led SIUE in hits, ranked second in home runs, RBIs, runs and slugging, and tied for the league lead in several of those categories; he also won SIUE’s all-time Division hits lead with 238 career hits after a huge 8-for-15 weekend with three homers and seven RBIs.[1][2] His fit is obvious for teams that want a durable, middle-of-the-order infielder who can drive the ball, create extra-base damage, and bring proven production in big moments, with enough mobility to chip in on the bases and enough bat-to-ball consistency to stack multi-hit games.[1][2]
