Reggie Waddell brings proven cover skills and steady play for Western Illinois
Reggie Waddell was praised at Western Illinois for his natural coverage ability, playmaking instincts, and consistent, steady production; he led the Gateway Conference in pass breakups and earned 2nd-team All-Gateway and 1st-team All-Newcomer honors in his first year of 1-AA football[6]. The main knock in the scouting profile was size, not effort or competitiveness, which suggests a defensive back who wins with technique, timing, and urgency rather than pure measurables[6].
