steady SIUE guard with veteran shot-making touch
In the 2018-19 season, Jaylen McCoy was a senior guard for SIUE who averaged 4.8 points, 1.0 assists and 0.9 rebounds per game while appearing in a career-high 28 games and making six starts.[1][2] His value wasn’t volume scoring so much as veteran poise and occasional heat-check shooting—he showed he could get hot from deep, including a 17-point outburst with 4-of-5 from three in 2017-18.[6] He’s a fit if a team wants an experienced, compact guard who can bring toughness, spacing and a little spark off the bench.[3][15]
