Western Carolina's Explosive WR with Elite Return Skills
Daquan Patten, Western Carolina's dynamic wide receiver, wrapped his Catamounts career with 103 receptions for 1,249 yards and 8 TDs, showcasing blistering speed and big-play ability—highlighted by a 78-yard punt return TD in 2021 that earned him SoCon Special Teams Player of the Week. Versatile as a receiver and returner with 323 all-purpose yards that season, his high-motor intensity and knack for explosive plays make him a differentiator; post-college, he's drawing pro interest via Firebirds workouts, ideal for teams needing a speedy, fearless WR/return specialist ready to ignite offenses.
