Columbia DL with a long, low-visibility profile
Shad Sommers is a Columbia defensive lineman whose public profile is limited, so the biggest takeaway is upside tied to depth and development rather than proven production. The available roster/history information confirms his role on the Lions’ defensive front, but there are no reliable recent stats in the provided sources to quantify current performance, rankings, or impact. If you’re evaluating him for a fit, the signal is that he’s a projectable DL body for a disciplined scheme, but you’d want current camp reports, game film, and coaching usage before treating him as a ready-made difference-maker.
